Fe-26Si-9B alloy was selected as a potential phase change material (PCM) to store energy at temperatures up 1300 °C. A suitable refractory is crucial building PCM container for in thermal storage systems. The should have the ability withstand corrosion from liquid and not pollute after long-term cycles high temperatures. In this work, Si3N4 candidate material.
